Outgoing post log:--This is the fully-qualified name of a file to which your postings will be sent. Clear this field if you do not want to an outgoing post log.
Killfile directory:--A directory containing kill files. The file named KILL is a global killfile, and applies to all subscribed groups. Killfiles restricted to a given newsgroup will have the same name as the group.
Country code:--The two-letter code for your country.
FAQs directory:--This identifies the directory containing the list of pointers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) files. The FAQs directory will contain one file for each newsgroup you are subscribed to. FAQ pointers may be added to these files either manually or automatically; see Using the integrated FAQs lists for details.
Group names directory:--The name of a directory to be used to hold various files identifying subscribed- and unsubscribed groups. This directory replaces the pre-Version2 WebReader Newsrc.unsubscribed and desc.unsubscribed files.
Apply--Pressing the Apply button causes the current field values to be saved in the Properties file.
Reset--Pressing the Reset button causes the current field values to be reset to their current values, as given in the Properties file.
Cancel--Pressing the Cancel button causes the Properties dialog to disappear.
