
To download and install WebReader 3.0 for Windows 95/98, follow the instructions below:
Download WebReader 3.0 now! (1481256 bytes)
Save the downloaded file to disk.
2. Open Microsoft Windows Explorer, e.g., from the Windows Start button, select Programs and Windows Explorer.
3. Navigate to the folder where the WebReader distribution was downloaded to and double-click on wr_install.
4. The installer checks to see if you have a suitable Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed; if not, it will prompt you to download and install one. As mentioned in the system requirements, WebReader 3.0 requires a Java 2 runtime environment.
5. Follow the prompts on the screen to continue.
6. After you have extracted the WebReader files, open a DOS shell window by selecting MS-DOS Prompt from the Windows Programs menu
7. Next, go to the WebReader installation directory. For example, if you installed WebReader in C:\WebReader, you would issue the following command in the DOS shell window:

NB: For more efficient disk utilization under Windows, we highly recommend that WebReader be installed on a system which includes FAT32 filesystem support
